PAULA VALENTI SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS Parent Survey Central School 2011-12 HIB INFORMATION (HARASSMENT, INTIMIDATION AND BULLYING) Central School Announcements CHANGES TO CROSSING GUARD POSTS: IMPORTANT UPDATE The Glen Rock Board of Education has been notified by the Office of the Mayor of Glen Rock that the two crossing guard posts previously discontinued will be reinstated with limited hours effective Monday May 20, 2013. Crossing guard coverage for the intersections of Maple at Waldron and Ackerman at Harding will be available from 8-8:45 a.m. and 3:15-3:50 p.m. effective Monday, May 20. Residents should take note that there will be no coverage at these intersections during school lunch periods. The new posts previously announced will continue as originally scheduled: Rock and Berkeley has been added only from 7:15-8:45 a.m. Rock at Main in the Central Business District has been added only from 11:30 a.m.-12:20 p.m. Rock at Hamilton has been added only from 3-3:50 p.m. Questions should be referred to the Glen Rock Police Department. Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) The Central School and all of Glen Rock Schools have high expectations for student behavior. Please read about the new state guidelines for Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) and how they will be implemented at Central. Also, please review the Above the Line letter about "Above the Line Behavior" guidelines for the upcoming school year.
